Time one complete cycle
- Start with an empty bag and record the time needed to fill it.
- Record the separate time spent travelling to sell and returning to your patch.
- Enter capacity, hay per second and selling time above.
- Compare one proposed improvement at a time, then check its actual Cash price in game.
Hay per minute = 60 × capacity ÷ (capacity ÷ gathering speed + selling trip seconds). Keeping the same route makes before-and-after measurements more useful.

Where do I get the inputs?
Read your bag capacity in game, time how long it takes to fill, then time the round trip to sell. Divide hay collected by filling seconds to estimate gathering speed.
Why does a larger bag sometimes give no gain?
With zero travel time, gathering speed alone limits this simplified model. More capacity becomes useful when it reduces time spent selling.
Does this tell me the cheapest upgrade?
No. It compares throughput only. Check actual upgrade prices and compare the size of each improvement before spending Cash.
Are the default values real game stats?
No. They are an illustrative example. Replace them with your own measurements.
